Housing Support

Helping Individuals and Families Find Stable Housing

RootedHomes’ Housing Access and Stability Program works with individuals and families experiencing homelessness to help them move toward safe, stable housing.

Our team provides personalized support based on each household’s needs. Services may include housing search assistance, limited rent and deposit assistance, shelter stability support, landlord engagement, and connections to community resources.

RootedHomes does not accept direct applications or self-referrals for this program. All participants must be referred to RootedHomes through Central Oregon’s Coordinated Entry System.

How We Can Help?

How Do I Get Referred?

RootedHomes only accepts referrals through Central Oregon’s Coordinated Entry System (CES).

Coordinated Entry is a community-wide intake process that helps connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness with available housing programs and community resources.

You may be eligible to complete a Coordinated Entry assessment if you are:

  • Sleeping outdoors

  • Staying in a homeless shelter

  • Staying in a car or camper without running water and electricity

  • Leaving an institution after a stay of less than 90 days and were experiencing homelessness before entering

Complete a Coordinated Entry Assessment

Tuesdays or Thursdays
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Housing resources through Coordinated Entry are limited. Completing an assessment does not guarantee that you will be selected for shelter, referred to RootedHomes, or connected with another housing program. You do not need to contact RootedHomes after completing your assessment. If Coordinated Entry refers you to our program, a member of our Housing Access team will contact you.

Are You Currently Housed?

If you currently have housing and are looking for help with rent, utilities, food, transportation, or other basic needs, RootedHomes is not able to accept direct requests for assistance through this program.

There may be other programs in Central Oregon that can help.

Call 211 to connect with available housing, utility, food, transportation, and other community resources.
